DJ MDX is the alias of Gabriel Fedalto, a Brazilian-Ecuadorian DJ, producer, curator and founder operating at the edges of underground club culture since 2015. Head of Marrecus Dance Traxx, sole founder of Sweetuf Records, and co-founder of Microondas and Yellow Island Records, his trajectory has been built far from industry formulas, shaped instead through illegal raves, improvised dancefloors and years immersed in Brazil’s underground circuit before relocating to Australia in 2019.

Over the years, MDX has curated and released more than 20 records while helping build over 50 underground parties, warehouse functions and street gatherings. His approach moves between electro, house, breaks, baile funk and soundsystem-driven mutations, guided less by genre and more by tension, rhythm and physical impact.

After stepping away from the scene to focus on developing Marrecus Dance Traxx, he returns to the decks with a sharpened vision shaped by 12 years inside dancefloors rather than online visibility. Rare appearances, carefully selected environments and an instinct for unpredictable movement define his presence behind the booth.

Equally influenced by Brazilian street energy and raw club functionality, DJ MDX treats the dancefloor as occupation, release and ritual, building spaces where sweat, sound and collective intensity speak louder than performance.

Alongside his DJ work, he hosts a fortnightly residency on Freocast, exploring rhythms and club mutations from across the global underground.
